Daura Dutour is a quadrilingual attorney who specilaizes in international arbitration, with a focus on commercial, energy and technology disputes. She began her career in Miami in 2007 with Kurzban Kurzban Weinger Tetzeli & Pratt, followed by roles in Paris with Jacques Barthélémy et Associés and Gide Loyrette Nouel. In 2010, Daura served as Legal Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office of Haiti, then worked with the USAID ProJustice Project and later as a senior associate at Lissade Law Firm for over eight years.

In 2021, Daura founded Dutour Avocats, advising clients on international arbitration, corporate law, and investment matters across the Caribbean, U.S., and Europe, with a focus on free trade zones and development initiatives. Since 2019, she has also served as Legal Counsel to the Franco-Dominican Chamber of Commerce Judiciary Committee. In 2024, Daura worked with arbitrator John Rooney on matters involving cyber assets and U.S.–Brazil cross-border issues.
Daura has represented a wide range of clients across many sectors, including Hewlett-Packard, Digicel, Société du Rhum Barbancourt, Lafito Industrial Free Zone, Lafito Port S.A., Hoteles Decameron, Lotto International S.A., Lavergne Group, ED&F Man Sugar, Antillean Marine Shipping Corporation, and CMA CGM.
In addition to her legal practice, Daura is actively involved in pro bono work. She serves on the board of PRODEV, a non-profit supporting education in Haiti, and has spoken at the Haiti Entrepreneurship Camp and the Rotary Club of Wall Street. She also provides ongoing pro bono services through the Catholic Charities Legal Services of the Archdiocese of Miami.
