Nathaniel Barnes is an associate at Gryphon Law who specializes in international arbitration and commercial litigation.  He has a broad practice area, with a particular focus on technology and insurance disputes, as well as enforcement actions.

In addition to his arbitration practice, Nathaniel has significant litigation experience in courts across the US. He has been involved in cases in New York, California, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, and previously served as a law clerk for both federal and state appellate judges in Maryland and Virginia.

Nathaniel earned his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, where he was on the Editorial Committee of The George Washington International Law Review.  He also represented low income clients charged with offenses in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia at the Rising for Justice Legal Clinic.  Prior to law school, Nathaniel received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hampton University, where he was a Presidential Scholar.
