April Barton's practice focuses on international dispute resolution and commercial litigation. She has acted on a wide range of complex commercial matters, including working on high-profile arbitrations, large-scale regulatory investigations, public inquiries, and class actions.
April holds an LLM (High Honors) from Columbia Law School, where she was awarded the Parker Certificate of Achievement in International Law and served as LLM Board Representative for the Columbia Society of International Law. During her time at Columbia, April served as a judicial extern to a Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
In addition to her legal practice, April frequently represents a range of pro bono clients. Her experience includes handling class actions, public interest litigation and bringing claims before human rights commissions.​
